Mailing instructions - from the USA to Canada

Here is an example of a typical form you will be asked to fill out at the post office. The form may vary a little but all of the information will be basicly the same. It is very important to fill out the form properly or customs may return it to you.

1> This area requires you to fill out your address.

2> This sections requires you to put in the recipients address (this is us)

3> This is a very important section! You must put the following:
        BOOK(S) FOR REPAIR AND RETURN
        TEMPORARY IMPORT ONLY
        CODE #51

4> This section can be hard to answer. We would like you to put (NCV=No Commercial Value) but customs does not always like this. They may feel that it needs at least a nominal value. Because your Bible(s) were given to you by donation not a sale, no commercial value is the correct description. We understand the Bible(s) are invaluable to you but you should put a nominal amount in: $5 to $15 total would also be acceptable. We suggest that you do not use Fed/ex or UPS since they do not allow a value of (NCV=No Commercial Value). If we are told to pay customs charges we may decline to receive the parcel. This would only happen if you did not follow the instructions given to you here.

5> The section is not as important. If you have the time put in our phone number, Fax and or email address.

6> This area is a brief one word discription. Put a check mark in GIFT or OTHER and as for the explanation just state Book(s) for repair & return.

The form below is generally used for larger packages.

Note:

For smaller parcel/packages you will be given a small green tag to fill out. In the detailed description area, Just put the same as Section 3 on the main form:

        BOOK(S) FOR REPAIR AND RETURN
        TEMPORARY IMPORT ONLY
        CODE #51

And for the value, use the same as the example in Section 4 (NCV=No Commercial Value)
